"This is a follow up to my wife's review from 2 weeks ago. After canceling our policy, we received another bill via email. We also checked the State Farm portal, which indicated that our account was "active". Our policy was scheduled to end 2/2/2025, which was confirmed in a previous email with Mr. Villiger. When my wife called and spoke with Mr. Villiger, he accused her of calling only to yell at him. He repeatedly told her that she claimed that we were being billed when we weren't. When it was brought up to him that we had received an email about a bill that would be charged for the month of February and that our account appeared as "Active" in the app, he claimed that he does not take care of policy cancellations, that is the job of underwriting. In our opinion, this showed a lack of accountability and leadership on Mr. Villiger's part. Mr. Villiger promised us that we are on his calendar for next Wednesday. Considering the lack of attentiveness our account has been given, we are not sure why we have to wait or if anything will actually be done. Based on the evidence we have seen so far, we cannot say with confidence that everything will be taken care of appropriately. Throughout this entire process, we feel that Mr. Villiger was inattentive, unprofessional, and careless. These are not the words that I would use to describe someone I would want in charge of my home and auto insurance. I would not recommend anyone use Ryan Villiger for their insurance needs."

"Ryan Villiger and his agents are neither careful nor communicative. After a text message inquiring about cancelling coverage on a car we had just sold went unanswered (after having gotten responses previously), I called to confirm. This was early November. Instead of reaching Ryan, I spoke to one of his agents. The agent and I discussed cancelling coverage on a single vehicle. The agent errantly cancelled our entire policy. My husband and I were unknowingly driving our cars for over a month until we recieved warning letters from the DMV. Accidents happen, and when I called and emailed Ryan Villiger, he backdated our insurance so we would not be liable for the month we weren't covered. He then said that our auto-payments hadn't been taken out, so he would call within the week to discuss a repayment plan. I never heard from him. A month later, after initiating contact again, Ryan did not respond to our email. After I sent a follow-up email four days later, Ryan responded he didn't see the first one because he was in-and-out of the office. If the issue was brand new, that would be understandable. The issue is he promised communication (about a very serious mistake) a month ago. Then instead of giving his direct attention to the matter himself, he had an agent call me. At this point, I am now concerned about our Drive Safe and Save discount in addition to the payment plan because our data was not tracked during our time of being unknowingly uninsured. Since State Farm discontinued the separate Drive Safe and Save app, I can't see any data from November until now. When Ryan's agent called me, he informed me that we lost our discount on one of our vehicles because one of the vehicles has a poor driver. My husband and I work together, and he drives both cars. He isn't a good driver in one car and a poor driver in the other car: the math isn't mathing. When I asked to have our Drive Safe and Save data shared with me so I could understand the discount process, the agent said he didn't have an answer to my question. This is unacceptable. A mistake that occured in November (and a very serious one at that, leaving us uninsured for a month!) has still not been resolved in mid-January. All communication has required my initiation. At this point, Ryan should be communicating with me directly to make things right, not continuing to put an agent on the job. I've given him ample time to resolve the issue, but he has not prioritized our concerns, finances, or safety."
